Santhiram Engineering college started its curriculum from the year 2007-08 which is located besides to Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College Of Engineering & Technology(RGMCET)on NH-18 at NANDYAL.It is the dedicated commitment and effort of our Chairman, the man with vision "Vidyarathna" Dr.M.Santhi Ramudu, who started the institution with a motto"EDUCATION FOR GLOBAL PEACE AND PROGRESS". Santhiram Engineering college is a road of elegant educational journey, yet path breaking in different dimensions.He is also the Founder and Chairman of Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College Of Engineering & Technology(RGMCET) established in the year 1995. RGMCET started functioning in the campus of The Nandyal Public school. Today it is located in a 50 acre sprawling campus on NH-18 at NANDYAL.
Dr.M.Santhi Ramudu strived a lot to bring technical education to the
people of Rayalaseema. As a part of his Mission he established Santhiram Medical College & General Hospital in the year 2005,which is a real boon to the people of many areas of rayalaseema where thousands of people are utilizing free medical services. The secret of this visionary is his humility with his cheerful approach. He is enriching these rural lands with knowledge. As a skilled crafts-man, he utilizes each moment of the day and stands as an apostle of hard work and the living example for the saying 'HARD WORK NEVER DECEIVES' .
He is also the Chairman of Video Conferencing Equipment Purchasing Committee and the Digital Library of SONET. He is playing a major role in the State for the development of technical education. The cosmopolitan university (university network and research institute), Missouri, USA has conferred the honorary degree, doctor of philosophy - PhD in education on Sri Dr M.Santhi Ramudu.
