Pharmacy is the clinical health science that links medical science with chemistry and it is charged with the discovery, production, disposal, safe and effective use, and control of medications and drugs.
The Bachelor of Pharmacy degree is popularly known as B-Pharm in India. It is a four-year program with both annual and semester schemes available. To be eligible, one must pass with at least 50% marks in 10 + 2 (or an equivalent examination) with physics, chemistry, biology or biotechnology as one of the subjects /APEMCET
Doctor of Pharmacy course, the students must have pursued 10+2 courses from either of the institutes recognized by the Government for this Program. The candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in graduation in order to pursue this programme.
Master of Pharmacy course, the students must have a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor of Pharmacy or BPharmacy course from a recognized university or college from PCI (Pharmacy Council of India). Some colleges required a minimum of 60% or equivalent to be eligible for M.Pharm admissions.
